Full Stack EngineerLaravel · Next.js · legal-tech SaaS

I built OnRegle’s legal-automation platform for the Quebec housing market, stayed through the Edilex acquisition, and scaled it as Oprio — documents, deadlines, and the APIs underneath.

Five years of Laravel SaaS: multi-tenant portals, document automation, deadline workflows, and the REST APIs those products sit on. Remote from Lahore for Quebec product teams for about four and a half years — OnRegle first, then Edilex after the acquisition.

Legal tech, end to end

Three products, one shape: regulated workflows, generated documents, and deadlines that have consequences. The first is the one I built, sold, and kept scaling.

Oprio — legal automation for Quebec housing
Multi-tenant legal workflows for property owners, managers, and legal professionals: files, generated documents, and statutory deadlines that cannot slip.

- Designed document automation, deadline tracking, and the REST APIs and dashboards behind files, properties, and notices.
- Rewrote legacy Laravel endpoints and background jobs so response times held up under high-volume usage.
- Kept payment, email, and third-party integrations running straight through the acquisition.

04About

A product engineer, not a ticket taker

I like the unglamorous parts of legal tech: the deadline maths, the document template that has to be right, the API a lawyer never sees.

After that I shipped an immigration SaaS at EntryChampions (Laravel, Next.js, Supabase). Since February 2026 I have been independent, most recently on an FBR-compliant POS in Electron and SQLite.

Day to day that is Laravel and PHP, Next.js and React, Postgres and Supabase, and CI/CD on Vercel, DigitalOcean, and AWS. The OpenAI API and Vercel AI SDK show up where a product actually needed them.

Async by default

Four and a half years on Quebec time from Lahore. Written updates, small pull requests, no hand-holding needed.

API to deploy

I own a feature end to end: schema, Laravel API, the UI on top, and the pipeline that ships it.

Regulated domains

My users are lawyers, property managers, and consultants. Deadlines, audit trails, and data isolation are the requirement, not a nice-to-have.

Where I fit

Work I can pick up now

Laravel SaaS product work
Features, APIs, queues, admin, and the leftover Angular or Vue on a live legal-tech or B2B product.
Next.js on a PHP backend
App Router, API routes, Supabase — the same shape as the EntryChampions portal.
FBR digital invoicing
Electron, SQLite, and FBR APIs bolted onto an existing shop system. Scoped, smaller work.

Best fit: a Laravel legal-tech or B2B SaaS team, Next.js on a PHP backend, or a scoped FBR invoicing milestone. Intros from OnRegle, Edilex/Oprio, and EntryChampions are welcome.
